The Iris flower begins to laugh as the legs of the ladybird tickle it. The extended petal reminded me of a baby's arm and how we tickle it to make them laugh. I was inspired by the brown pattern on the petals that looks like some long lost ancient writing. The ladybird adds a splash of red and a touch of whimsey.
